for professional training and personal growth run by the School of Inner Light
in Bournemouth, Dorset, UK, in the current time period. It is updated
regularly as courses end or new ones start or are scheduled.
This page gives a brief outline only of what is being offered. Please follow

about what the workshop / course will include.

Our Venue:
For most School of Inner Light courses and workshops our venue is the Bournemouth Society for the Visually Impaired, located in Victoria Park Road, Winton, Bournemouth just down from St. John's church off Wimborne Road. Most workshops are held in the Rooper Hall, an old, roomy and comfortable space with new kitchen facilities and loos. The entrance to this is through the double doors fronting onto the street. There is plenty of free on-street parking available close by and plenty of local shops selling food and drinks. The BSVI is close to several major bus routes, which also provide frequent and easy access from the railway station.
When working it is advisable to wear comfy, layered clothing and bring a sleeping bag or blanket and cushion or pillow to make floor work etc. more comfortable. You will need to bring lunch and plenty of water to drink, but we always provide tea, coffee, (decaf. and normal!) hot chocolate, herbal teas and biscuits free of charge.
Although we do need to make a living, we try to keep our prices as low as we can as we feel that opportunities for Spiritual growth should be available to everyone. If you are in genuine financial need and wish to attend a course, phone us to see if we can adjust the price for you or if we can come to a mutually acceptable arrangement.

"WAY OF ASCENSION"
COURSE NOW FULL
This open-ended CPD CERTIFICATED COURSE will be held one Sunday each month (see exact dates below) initially over a 1 year period.
As we have advanced spiritually as a planet the energies of many Higher Rays (including the "jewel" and "metal" Rays) are being made available to us. The "Way of Ascension" series is primarily aimed at personal growth and discovering ones Self and Life-purpose and for understanding how we may work with these Rays, Flames and other tools and techniques for healing and in other situations. Preparing those with a calling to manifest Higher Vibrational Energies on Earth at this important time, it will link with our own exploratory work using colour Rays through intent and manifestation, and also link with other Galactic bodies, both within and without our own Solar System. Throughout the course the aim is to encourage all of us to practise working with the new skills we learn, and share our experiences and realisations with our co-workers.

Due to the nature of the course, one-off workshops will not be offered to those not wishing to attend the full course. It is not necessary to be experienced in spiritual matters / metaphysics / Light-work to attend, but it is important that a high level of commitment to your spiritual growth and Light-body development is demonstrated. A minimum of 10 out of 12 days attendance will be expected, but obviously complete attendance will allow attendees to gain full benefit and understanding from the course.

"way of the masters" - ascended master series
This open-ended CPD certificated series (per 3 sessions) will be a sequence of short evening workshops each lasting for 2½ hours and held at monthly intervals on the last Friday of every month and will begin on Friday 28th March 2008. There will be 24 sessions in total (8 parts of 3 sessions each) over approximately a 2 year period.
The "Way of The Masters" Ascended Master series will be another unique opportunity aimed at those who wish to learn more about the Ascended Masters and experience their energies and wisdom for themselves, with the aim of bringing the qualities and energetic support of each one into their everyday lives. It will be based around four themes: working with the heart centre; balance; clearing and transformation and raising our vibrations and will include journeying and journal keeping and working consciously with the Masters between tutor-led sessions. Each session will be held as a part of our Light-workers Support and Development Group - "Torches" - at the Rooper Hall between 7.15 and 9.45pm. Individual sessions may be attended for those wishing to know more about specific Masters, but a CPD will only be offered for each completed part (3 consecutive sessions.) Those who complete all 24 sessions will also be awarded a special certificate from the School.

WORKSHOPS SCHEDULED:
"way of the archangels - WALKING WITH ARCHAEON"
A few one-day workshops will be offered throughout 2008, working with Metatron, Sandalphon, Gabriel and Azrael - plus the "Big Six" later in the year. Our calendar page has been updated with full details as appropriate. The full course will not be running this year, due to time constraints and other courses taking priority.

We feel that Archangelic work is very special and should be as available to as many people as possible, hence the relatively low cost of these workshops. You will receive 1 full day (8 hours) working with each Archangel and their feminine counterpart; a unique initiation into the energy of each Archangel, given by the Archangels themselves plus very comprehensive handouts containing a great deal of reference information and channelled transcription about how each Archangel wants to work with you following their session.

Our weekends are now so fully booked that, if we have sufficient interest,
we have decided to offer our latest Diploma Course on weekdays - probably
Fridays. This will entail attendance on one Friday every 3-4 weeks throughout
a two year period, the dates of which will be mutually agreed between
ourselves and our students on a month by month basis, thus allowing a greater
degree of flexibility of individual study arrangements. These sessions will be
smaller, with only 4 students studying at a time; thus allowing time for more
individual attention and practise supervision. If attending this course on a
weekday (9.30 to 4.30 each day) would suit you, please contact us to add your
name to our waiting list.

REIKI WORKSHOPS SCHEDULED:
Go to our "Reiki" pages for full details about the courses. We are mainly teaching Angelic Reiki at present, due to the huge demand for this new and exciting course.
If no dates are yet shown for this or other forms and you wish to train
with us, simply telephone or e-mail us with your requirements and we will try
to arrange a suitable time for you. Firm dates have not yet been arranged for
every system for 2008, but we do still have some weekends free throughout the
year, if there is the demand to fit a course in. We can also arrange training
on weekdays if preferred.
